Overview

This creative and dynamic fashion design course develops designers who are technically accomplished visually literate and articulate.

The course involves incremental acquirement of different subjects, thus ensuring that course graduates are appropriately qualified for their future careers. The in-depth subject training is provided along with concrete and detailed awareness of sector specific tasks and the ability to combine various skills plays an important role here. The course has been designed to optimize learning.

Social and methodological skills and self-competence are the factors that determine to a major extent the future professional success of graduates and thus systematically fostered during the course. Considerable emphasis is placed on project based work


Course Objectives

A broad based understanding of the subject together with a fundamental knowledge of textiles and business administration is required to be successful in the clothing business. Students majoring on Design see themselves as developers of clothing and fashion. They will be provided with in-depth training in the techniques of fashion design.
