Skill Development Center
The vision of Jagan Nath University is to make higher education skill-based through a pragmatic shift in blending traditional education with skill development to enable and empower the youth of the country for better employability. Skill development has become a thrust area in technical and professional education at Jagan Nath University, Haryana.
To complement traditional teaching with hands-on practical training and enhance students' employability, the University has established a dedicated Skill Development Center. The Centre functions in alignment with the vision and mission of the National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC), the University Grants Commission (UGC), and the Government of Haryana.
Keeping in mind the rapid changes in the Higher Education System, in line with the objectives of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, Jagannath University is reorienting its academic programmes towards a skill-based and industry-focused curriculum.
To achieve this objective, the University has partnered with leading industry organizations and skill development agencies to offer skill-based courses embedded within its regular degree programmes. These programmes prepare students for successful careers by equipping them with industry-relevant knowledge, practical skills, and professional competencies. In addition, the University offers future skills courses, value-added programmes, and stand-alone short-term certification courses.

3-Year Bachelor of Vocational Studies (B.Voc.)
The University offers B.Voc. programmes with multiple entry and exit options in the following disciplines:

Additionally, the University has collaborated with Jaish Global Tech Pvt. Ltd. to offer short-term and long-term industry-oriented programmes in Cyber Security. Through this collaboration, students also have the opportunity to obtain a C3iHub Certificate from IIT Kanpur, subject to applicable norms.
The University also provides opportunities for students to participate in various government-sponsored skill development programmes introduced from time to time.
