Distinguished Visitors

The JNUB has been receiving the visits of distinguished personalities to motivate of students to excel in their studies, career and personal life. The visitors from governance, academia, industry, NGOs from India and abroad have frequently visited the campus. Prominent among them are:

  1. Prof. A.R Kohli, Former Governor, Mizoram State addressed students at the Orientation Program September 2, 2015.
  2. Prof. Dieter Trautz and Dr. Insa Kuhling from University of Applied Sciences, Osnabruck, Germany as chief guest at Indo German Workshop on “Organic Mineral Fertilizer Pellets for Sustainable Agriculture” organized by the University on November 07, 2017.
  3. Sh. Rohit Watts, Chief Judicial Magistrate, District and Session Court, Jhajjar (Secretary, District Legal Services Authority, Jhajjar) formally inaugurated the Legal Aid Clinic (Legal Care and Support Center) and addressed the participants including the faculty and students on March, 16, 2016.
  4. Sh. R.C Bidhan, Deputy Commissioner, Jhajjar addressed the faculty and students as Chief Guest at National Seminar on Criminal Law Reforms organized on February 11, 2017.
  5. Sh. Kuldeep Kumar, Deputy Director, Competition Law Commission of India as Chief Guest at one day  National Seminar on “The Role of Competition Law in New Economy: Issues, Challenges and Opportunities” organized on April 23, 2016. 
  6. Prof. P.S Lathwal, (Retd.), Delhi University, Delhi delivered key note lecture on “Intellectual Property Rights and their Implementations” organized by the University on November 11, 2017.
  7. Sh. Rajwant Singh, Project Manager – Regional IT Infrastructure at BASF, USA, addressed students and faculty and provided needed guidance for higher education for career in USA.
  8. Dr. Mahinder Singh of D.N College, Hisar and Dr. Jasbir Kaur of Nehru College, Jhajjar on National Seminar on Integral Humanism organized by the University on 22.11.2017.
  9. Prof. R. Vinayak, Prof. H. Ghosh Roy, Prof. Narender Garg, Prof. Karam Pal, Prof. Sanjeev Mittal delivered expert lectures as recourse person in Faculty Development Program (FDP) sponsored by the DST, Government of India,  New Delhi organized by the University from July 17 to 28, 2017.
  10. Prof. R.K Mittal, Former Vice Chancellor, Teerthankar Mahaveer University delivered key note addressed in National Seminar on “Demonetization of Indian Currency: Retrospect and Prospect” organized by University on March 18, 2017.
  11. Sh. S.P Tripathi, Director, Entrepreneurship Cell, Department of Science and Technology delivered lecture in EAC Program on September 28 to 30, 2016.
  12. Dr. P. Bhaskar Reddy from Dubai, delivered lecture in One day International Workshop on “Advanced Based Practice of Taping- Basic Module” on February 19, 2017 organised by Department of Physiotherapy.
  13. Sh. Munish Nagpal, Hon’ble ADC, Jind (Haryana), graced the One-Day National Seminar on “Perspectives and Challenges of Higher Education in Current Scenario” as Chief Guest on April 27, 2019. The seminar was organized by the Faculty of Education to discuss challenges and quality issues in higher education.
  14. Shri Rajesh Yadav, Civil Judge (Sr. Div.)/CJM and Secretary, District Legal Services Authority (DLSA), visited Jagannath University as the chief resource person for a One-Day Workshop on “Law Relating to Woman and Child” on February 20, 2019, and interacted with law students and faculty members on important legal issues concerning women and children.
  15. Sh. O. P. Dhankar, Hon’ble Agriculture Minister, Government of Haryana, inaugurated the Two-Day Industrial Exhibition and National Seminar on “University-Industry Partnerships” organized by Jagan Nath University, Haryana on March 22–23, 2018. He interacted with participants and appreciated the efforts of the University in promoting industry-academia collaboration and technological awareness.
  16. Dr. Mahinder Singh, Head, Department of History, D.N. College, Hisar, and Dr. Jasbir Kaur, Head, Department of History, Nehru College, Jhajjar, visited Jagan Nath University as keynote speakers for the National Seminar on “Integral Humanism” on November 22, 2017. They addressed students and participants on the ideals of Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyaya and their relevance to nation-building and social development.
  17. Mr. Rajveer Yadav, Professional and Motivational Mentor, Career Guide, Corporate Trainer and Educator, and Mr. Rachit Aggarwal, CEO, UR Services Pvt. Ltd., visited Jagan Nath University as eminent speakers for a workshop on Campus to Corporate Transition. They interacted with students and shared valuable insights on career development, industry expectations, and opportunities in the global corporate sector.
  18. Dr. Mrs. Suman Sihag, an expert in English language teaching and professional skills with over 20 years of experience, visited Jagan Nath University as the resource person for a workshop on communication and professional skills. She conducted interactive sessions focused on teamwork, confidence building, positive attitude, and workplace communication through various activity-based learning methods.
  19. Retd. Prof. P. S. Lathwal, University of Delhi, chaired the One-Day National Seminar on “Intellectual Property Rights and their Implementations” organized by the Department of Law, Jagan Nath University, on November 11, 2017. He shared his expertise on Intellectual Property Rights and interacted with participants from various universities and colleges.
  20. Dr. Dieter Trautz and Dr. Insa Kuehling from Germany visited Jagan Nath University as resource persons for the Indo-German Workshop on Sustainable Agriculture. They shared their expertise on modern agricultural practices and the challenges associated with intensive farming, interacting with faculty members and students during the workshop.
  21. Dr. Neelam Sehrawat, M.D. University, Rohtak, Dr. A.M. Painily, Govt. (PG) College, New Tehri (Uttarakhand), and Dr. Savita Goyal Aggarwal, Uttaranchal College of Science & Technology, Dehradun, were the distinguished speakers at the National Webinar on “Recent Trends in Basic and Applied Science” conducted on October 22, 2022. They shared their expertise on emerging developments in basic and applied sciences with faculty members and students.
  22. Capt. Shakti Singh, Deputy Commissioner, Jhajjar, visited the University as the Chief Guest for the 7th Convocation held on 11 March 2023. He addressed the graduating students and inspired them to contribute meaningfully to society through their knowledge, skills, and values. His presence added prestige to the occasion and motivated the graduates as they embarked on their professional journeys.
  23. Mr. Sanjay Sharma, Pharma Career Coach, delivered a guest lecture on “Pharma Industry and Where I Fit In” on 11 November 2022. He emphasized the importance of professionalism, time management, punctuality, and personal development for career success.
  24. Sh. Ravinder Kumar, HCS, SDM Jhajjar, and Sh. Ishwar Jakhar, Deputy Director, Department of Agriculture, Jhajjar, delivered a guest lecture on “Aim High and Set Right Career Goals” and “National Food Security Mission” on 15 February 2023. They motivated students to set clear career goals, persevere through challenges, and understand the importance of food security and nutrition.
  25. Prof. (Dr.) M.C. Sharma conducted a workshop on “Quality Concerns in Research & Academic Writing” on 21 January 2023. He provided valuable insights into research methodology, academic writing, topic selection, and ethical considerations in research.
  26. Sh. Arvind Bharat Bansal, Chief Judicial Magistrate, graced the celebration of the 73rd Constitution Day on 23 November 2022 as the Chief Guest. He delivered an enlightening lecture on Fundamental Rights, Fundamental Duties, and the importance of Constitutional Amendments.
  27. Dr. Sandeep Guran, Medical Officer from the Chief Medical Officer (CMO) Office, Jhajjar, delivered an awareness lecture on the occasion of World AIDS Day.
  28. Sh. Bijender Singh Kabeera, Vice President, North India, DICCI, delivered an expert lecture on “How to Become an Entrepreneur.” He shared valuable insights on entrepreneurship, business start-up strategies, and the legal and ethical aspects of establishing a successful venture.
  29. Prof. Satyawan Baroda, Director, IMSAR, M.D.U. Rohtak, delivered an expert lecture on “Unwind the Art of Serenity: A Guide to Stress Management” on 30 November 2023. He explained the concepts of good stress and bad stress with practical examples and highlighted their impact on personal and professional life.
  30. Dr. Ranbir Singh Kadian, Principal, Government College, Jassia, Rohtak, delivered an expert lecture on the occasion of National Mathematics Day 2023. He highlighted the importance of Mathematics in daily life, education, and career development, encouraging students to focus on mathematical learning for a brighter future.
  31. Dr. Gulshan Setiya, Vice President of the Ayurvedic Drugs Manufacturer Association, along with Mr. Mahesh Kaushik of Ayu Search Laboratories and Mr. Hariom Shrivastav of Captain Biotech, graced the 62nd National Pharmacy Week celebration as distinguished guests. They delivered motivational lectures highlighting the crucial role of pharmacists in ensuring patient safety and promoting quality healthcare.
  32. Dr. Rahul Taneja, a scientist and registered patent agent, and Dr. Upendra Nagaich, CEO of SPER Market Research Private Limited, were the distinguished guests at the National Technology Day celebration held on 15 May 2024. They shared valuable insights on technological advancements, innovation, and their impact on healthcare and society.
  33. Dr. Neha Arora and Mr. Ganesh from Arbro Pharmaceuticals Pvt. Ltd. delivered a guest lecture on the “Industry-Led Skill-Based Training Program” for Pharma Domains on 11 January 2024. They highlighted the importance of industry-oriented skills, modern technologies, quality standards, and career opportunities in the pharmaceutical sector.
  34. Mr. Aadarsh, Centre Manager at Anudip Foundation and IBM, conducted an “IBM Skills Development Training” on 27 February 2024. He provided insights into various technical and certification programmes and guided students on effective problem-solving and task management skills.
  35. Er. Kamal Kumar Ranga, HES, Government College, Bahadurgarh, delivered a keynote lecture on “Data Science and its Future in India” on 4 March 2024. He highlighted the growing importance of data science across various sectors and its transformative role in India's technological advancement.
  36. Dr. Sandeep, Deputy Medical Superintendent, Civil Hospital, Jhajjar, delivered a guest lecture on the occasion of National Cancer Awareness Day on 7 November 2023. He provided valuable insights into cancer awareness, prevention, and early detection, emphasizing the importance of timely diagnosis and healthy lifestyle practices.
  37. Sh. Bijender Singh Kabeera, Vice-President, North India, DICCI, New Delhi, delivered an expert lecture on “How to Become an Entrepreneur” on 1 March 2024. He explained the fundamentals of entrepreneurship, business environment analysis, and the practical application of entrepreneurial knowledge.
  38. Prof. (Dr.) M.C. Sharma, Director, Teacher Education, UNICEF, New Delhi, and Prof. Ramesh Prasad Pathak, Professor at Shri Lal Bahadur Shastri National Sanskrit University, New Delhi, were the distinguished speakers at the National Seminar on “National Education Policy (NEP 2020): Essentials for Teachers and Teacher Education” held on 23 April 2024. They highlighted the key provisions of NEP 2020 and discussed the evolving role of teachers and teacher educators in the changing educational landscape.
  39. Dr. Ranjay Kumar Chaudhary from Amity University visited the University as the resource person for the Basic Life Support (BLS) and CPR Workshop held on 14 August 2024. He conducted an expert session on emergency response and demonstrated CPR techniques. His practical training enabled students to learn essential life-saving skills.
  40. Dr. Anupam Kurlwal (Acharya), Professor of Law at Maharshi Dayanand University, delivered a lecture on “New Criminal Laws in India” on 17 September 2024. He explained the key reforms and recent developments in India's criminal laws. His expert insights enhanced students’ legal understanding and awareness. The interactive session encouraged active participation and discussion.
  41. Dr. Jai Kumar visited Jagannath University, Delhi NCR Bahadurgarh as the expert speaker for the workshop on “Life Skill Education – The Science of Happiness” held on 5 March 2025. He shared practical insights on self-awareness, resilience, and personal growth through real-life examples.
