ACTIVITY RECORD 2025-2026
Department of Law, Jagannath University, Bahadurgarh, in collaboration with District Legal Services Authority (DLSA), Jhajjar, organized a workshop on Awareness 16th February 2026 to spread awareness against Child Marriage (Bal Vivah). The programme was conducted with the objective of educating the community about the legal provisions and social consequences associated with child marriage.
2) A Debate and a Declamation Competition Organised by The Faculty Of Law, at Jagannath University, Bahadurgarh Haryana, The event aimed to spread awareness regarding the harmful effects of drug abuse and to encourage students to contribute towards building a healthy, safe, and drug-free society.
3) Workshop on Human Rights Awareness :
Human Rights Day Celebration – Faculty of Law, Jagannath University
The Faculty of Law successfully celebrated Human Rights Day on 10th December in the university campus, marking the occasion with enthusiasm and active student participation.
The primary objectives were:
Raising Awareness: To educate students about the provisions of The Constitutional rights, along with its safeguards.
Understanding Key Concepts: To explain the concepts human rights, like as right to Equality, freedom of speech, constitutional remedies in case of breach of Fundamental Rights.
Empowering the Participants: To equip attendees with the knowledge of legal safeguards and reporting mechanisms to address instances of violation of rights.
Creating a Safe Environment: To foster a culture of safety, respect, and mutual understanding within educational institutions and the larger community.
4) The Department of Law, Jagannath University, NCR, Bahadurgarh, organized a workshop on ‘Navigating Supreme Court Cases (SCC Online)’ on 17th February, 2026. The workshop was conducted by Mr. Rajesh Raina, an experienced speaker from the SCC Online. SCC Online is a leading law publisher, an online platform for legal scholars, students, advocates to research across case laws, articles and other legal content that is authentic and reliable with cutting-edge technology to create a powerful legal research resource.
5) THE LEGAL AWARENESS CAMP at Village Kherka Gujar, Organized by The Faculty of Law, Jagannath University, Bahadurgarh, in collaboration with District Legal Services Authority (DLSA), Jhajjar ,Under the scheme of Unnat Bharat Abhiyan (UBH),On 24.04.2026
